GRABOT was a heavyweight robot built by Team DaStroy which competed in BattleBots World Championship V and the spin-off series, BattleBots: Bounty Hunters.
It was a two-wheel drive, blue and white robot armed with articulating hands, and a 45lb wedge at the rear made from AR500 steel for deflecting spinners, and spikes on each wheel, each made from 1½" thick UMHW. While invertible, the robot could use its grabbing arms with spring-loaded 'fingers' as they worked in both directions and worked from a single mechanism. GRABOT also featured twin maces, which were interchangeable with a pair of cutting saws, as seen in a testing video.[1]

GRABOT performed poorly in its debut season, with its primary weapon proving ineffective throughout. It lost both of its matches by knockout during the Fight Night rounds, first to SubZero and then to Beta.
Returning for BattleBots: Bounty Hunters, GRABOT entered Son of Whyachi bracket but failed to pick up a win as it was comfortably beaten by Robotic Death Company and their shell spinner, Gigabyte.
The bot was designed to be a demonstration for the team's company, which specialises in customising existing disability vehicles such as wheelchairs to allow people to pick up and grab items as anybody else would.[2][3] GRABOT did not return for future seasons of BattleBots.

Trivia[]
- According to multiple teams present at filming for the 2020 season, Beta was originally set to fight Sharko until they were unable to repair their robot in time. GRABOT and Rampage were both drafted in for an additional fight but GRABOT were ready first and fought Beta instead.
