frenZy was one of nine BattleBots competitors released as part of Jakks Pacific's line of Grip N' Grapplers toys in 2001.
Based on frenZy's Season 2.0 appearance, the main robot was attached to a flexible, clear plastic tube connected to a pull trigger. When activated, the trigger would power frenZy's iconic hammer. The hammer itself could also come off.
frenZy's weak spots were on the robot's rounded shell. When struck, these would "explode" to signify the robot being knocked out. frenZy also comes with a practice robot - either Striker or Slicer.

Trivia[]
- Due to the length of frenZy's hammer, it was packaged separate from the main robot itself. Despite this, the packaging retained its "Try Me" functionality with the pull trigger.
