Franky is a 15lb robot which competed at BattleBots: Metal Mayhem - a high school and college competition held as part of SXSW 2024.

It is a four-wheel drive, blue and white robot armed with an eggbeater spinner at the front. Franky sports an aluminum frame with ⅛" titanium front and rear wedges. To protect its wheels, Franky features thick side panels made from machined UMHW plastic. Franky ultimately won the event, defeating RGBeater in the final to become the inaugural BattleBots: Metal Mayhem champion.

BattleBots: Metal Mayhem
Franky vs. Not Scott Franky's first opponent in Group A was horizontal spinner Not Scott. It won this fight to earn its first victory of the competition.
Franky vs. Holy CR@B Next up for Franky was Holy CR@B, which lost its first battle. Franky won this fight to advance to 2-0.
Franky vs. Desserts Franky pops Desserts into the air. Franky's third and final group stage opponent was Comet Robotics' Desserts. After throwing its opponent across the arena, Franky ultimately took the win to finish Group A with a 3-0 record.
Franky vs. Thunderstorm Franky immobilizes Thunderstorm. Franky took on Thunderstorm later in the tournament. Franky won by knockout to move on.
Franky vs. Dishwasher Franky takes on Dishwasher in the final four. Now in the semi-finals, Franky took on Dishwasher. It won this fight too and moved onto the final.
Franky vs. RGBeater Franky drives away from an immobile RGBeater. Franky fought RGBeater in the final, winning to become the first BattleBots: Metal Mayhem champion.
