Flip You Off was a middleweight robot built by Team Squat Bot which competed in Season 3.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was a long, white robot armed with a pneumatic flipping plate. The robot also had a small box-shaped, weaponless "Skeeter-Bot" minibot which would emerge from the rear of the main robot and pester its opponents. Despite its weaponry, Flip You Off could not self-right, contributing to defeat in its only battle against eventual runner-up Little Drummer Boy. Its name was a play on the term 'flipping someone off', meaning to perform a middle finger gesture which is generally considered offensive in Western countries.
Neither Flip You Off nor Team Squat Bot returned for future competitions.

Flip You Off vs. Little Drummer Boy Flip You Off's first and only match was against Little Drummer Boy. This match lasted a minute or less as the drum of Little Drummer Boy caught hold on the side of Flip You Off and flipped it over. Flip You Off could not right itself and Little Drummer Boy won the fight by KO after just 45 seconds. As a result, Flip You Off was eliminated from the tournament. |
