Viking Dragon was a middleweight robot built by Team Viking USA. It was a weaponless robot with a large cage surrounding the chassis. Viking Dragon entered Seasons 4.0 and 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots. Viking Dragon had no success, losing both of its first round matches. After BattleBots ended, Viking Dragon entered several events under the name Red Viking Dragon, but it had little success.
Team Viking USA also made Eric the Red.
Robot History[]
Season 4.0[]
Viking Dragon's first and only match in Season 4.0 was against 2925 Jack Rabbit. At the beginning of the match, Jack Rabbit showed very little control early on. However, when it wasn't meandering aimlessly or trying to line up on a target, Jack Rabbit hits Viking Dragon incredibly hard and pushed it into the spikestrip. After a few hits on Viking Dragon, Jack Rabbit pushed Viking Dragon around the arena and rammed it until Viking Dragon's wooden base plate appeared to break. Viking Dragon stopped moving and it was being counted out. Jack Rabbit won by KO and Viking Dragon was eliminated from the tournament.
Season 5.0[]
Viking Dragon's first and only match in Season 5.0 was against Mirror Image. Mirror Image won on a 26-19 judges' decision and Viking Dragon was eliminated from the tournament again.
