Slap 'Em Silly was a lightweight robot that competed in Seasons 4.0 and 5.0 of Comedy Central’s Battlebots. It was not built by the team that owned it but bought off eBay. The robot was originally Patriot, but when the robot had a disappointing Season 3.0 record the original owner sold Patriot to Team Fatcats, who rebuilt the robot from the ground up, keeping only some of Patriot's parts. They renamed it as well as giving it a rear spike. Driven by 13-year old Andy Sauro of Team Fatcats, it became a popular competitor during Season 4.0, when it defeated numerous opponents and made it to the quarter-finals. For Season 5.0 the team returned with a new paint job and two more Slap 'Em Silly robots. The two robots competed in the middleweight division as Slap 'Em Sillier. However, this robot never got out of the preliminary rounds. Slap 'Em Silly did decently in Season 5.0, winning one fight.

After BattleBots ended, Slap 'Em Silly competed as West Side Glory for a few years before the team retired. Later on it was sold off to Team Chaos Robotics, who sold it again to Team Cyberdyne Systems, a Canada-based team. The team is looking into restoring it to fighting condition.

Team Fatcats also competed with a heavyweight named Sledge-Jammer in the final three seasons.

Team member and driver Andy Sauro would later join the Bot Bash Party Crew, who compete with Skorpios in 2022, for the BattleBots World Championship VII, Andy also worked on the Team's YouTube channel previously.

Slap 'Em Silly vs. Bust-O-Matic

Slap 'Em Silly's first ever match was against Bust-O-Matic. In the match, Slap 'Em Silly kept on getting hit by Bust-O-Matic's cage spinner, but it did little to no damage and stopped immediately. Slap 'Em Silly then started pushing Bust-O-Matic for most of the match and at one point, Slap 'Em Silly got underneath Bust-O-Matic and pushed it against the arena wall. Bust-O-Matic's spinning cage stopped moving and it became a pushing match. Bust-O-Matic was pushing Slap 'Em Silly for a little bit before the time ran out and Slap 'Em Silly won on a 37-8 judges' decision. This win put Slap 'Em Silly to the next preliminary round, where it faced Little Hater.

Slap 'Em Silly vs. Little Hater

In the beginning of the match, Little Hater immediately got underneath Slap 'Em Silly, lifted it, and rammed it against the spikestrip. Slap 'Em Silly was unfazed and rammed into Little Hater pretty good, but Slap 'Em Silly was pushed against the spikestrip again. Slap 'Em Silly then pushed Little Hater against the spikestrip. Little Hater got on top of Slap 'Em Silly, but soon got off. Both robots circled around the BattleBox and both robots were pushing each other soon after. Slap 'Em Silly being attacked by Mouser's spiked tail.

Mouser drives straight into Slap 'Em Silly, but Slap 'Em Silly dodges. Mouser tried to flip Slap 'Em Silly with its flipping arm, but no luck. Slap 'Em Silly tries to drive its spike into Mouser's back, but Slap 'Em Silly drives right up the dome of Mouser and Mouser starts using the tail. Slap 'Em Silly escapes and positions itself. The two robots meet, side-by-side, and begin to turn in the same direction. Mouser tries to activate the flipping arm a couple times, but Slap 'Em Silly wasn't on its arm. Mouser got its arm under Slap 'Em Silly and activates it, but doesn't do much of anything to Slap 'Em Silly. Slap 'Em Silly tries to drive its wedge under Mouser's rear, but again, drives over the dome and into Mouser's tail. While Mouser was hitting Slap 'Em Silly with its tail, Slap 'Em Silly was pushing Mouser forward. Mouser turns around and Slap 'Em Silly slides off. Mouser fires its arm and Slap 'Em Silly tries to take advantage of the vulnerable front, but Slap 'Em Silly's wedge is higher than Mouser's dome. Slap 'Em Silly drives up onto Mouser and Mouser tries to flip it, but it just pushes Slap 'Em Silly off instead of toppling it. Slap 'Em Silly keeps trying to get under Mouser. Mouser's tail was briefly stuck in the seam between the wedge and body of Slap 'Em Silly. Mouser drives over the killsaws and Slap 'Em Silly got its wedge front high-centered on the side of Mouser. Mouser got away and Slap 'Em Silly was back on the BattleBox floor. Slap 'Em Silly drives onto the top of Mouser again, but again, Mouser couldn't flip it. Slap 'Em Silly drives around and teases Mouser into activating the arm again. When Mouser does, Slap 'Em Silly drives up and got itself in the way of letting the arm come back down. As Mouser was trying to escape, Mouser was caught on the killsaws. Mouser continues to try to flip Slap 'Em Silly and Slap 'Em Silly tries to push Mouser towards the pulverizer, but neither robot were successful. Both robots were separated and both robots moved to the middle of the BattleBox. Mouser tries another flip and misses. As Slap 'Em Silly tried to get underneath Mouser again, Mouser drives around the killsaws and a small chunk of the pink shell was sent flying to the other side of the BattleBox. Mouser got two successive lifts in on Slap 'Em Silly and Slap 'Em Silly pushes Mouser onto the killsaws. Both robots were tossed on the killsaws and Slap 'Em Silly got its spike jammed into the slot for Mouser's spiked tail. Slap 'Em Silly pushes Mouser onto the killsaws again before the time ran out. Slap 'Em Silly won on a close 24-21 judges' decision and advanced to the Round of 16, where it faced Afterthought.

SlapEmSilly vs Afterthought SF01B

Slap 'Em Silly fighting Afterthought.

Slap 'Em Silly approaches Afterthought while Afterthought got its spinning disc going. Slap 'Em Silly just drives straight into Afterthought's disc and it doesn't seem to do anything to Slap 'Em Silly. It pushes Afterthought a bit and Afterthought runs into the screws behind its square. Slap 'Em Silly then started pushing Afterthought into the screws a few more times. Afterthought escapes by driving over the top of Slap 'Em Silly. Afterthought started spinning its disc again and Slap 'Em Silly is still unfazed by the disc. Slap 'Em Silly gets behind Afterthought and starts pushing it toward the screws behind the blue square. Afterthought tries to escape by driving straight into the screws. Afterthought escapes and both robots started pushing each other in the middle of the BattleBox. Afterthought got itself caught on the killsaws and Slap 'Em Silly tries to impale its rear spike through Afterthought's side. Both robots were driving around the BattleBox and Slap 'Em Silly pushes Afterthought over the killsaws. The killsaws popped up and ripped the rear armor off of Afterthought. Afterthought drives backward directly underneath the pulverizer, which ripped half of that side panel off of Afterthought. Afterthought drives straight at Slap 'Em Silly, which holds it over another set of killsaws. The killsaws popped up and ripped the other piece of side armor clear off of Afterthought. Slap 'Em Silly pushes Afterthought on the killsaws again and Afterthought started spinning its disc again. Slap 'Em Silly pushes Afterthought toward the killsaws again, which popped up and ripped most of the rest of Afterthought's side armor off. Slap 'Em Silly got underneath Afterthought and pushes it a few more times, though Afterthought just slides off. Slap 'Em Silly pushes Afterthought under the pulverizer and Afterthought escapes to the middle of the BattleBox. Slap 'Em Silly pushes Afterthought from behind and Afterthought was flipped onto its back. Slap 'Em Silly pushes Afterthought toward the pulverizer again, which drops down and flips Afterthought back on its wheels. As Afterthought was spinning its disc again, Slap 'Em Silly pushes Afterthought a few more times and takes it to the spikestrip. The spikestrip goes through one of the holes in Afterthought's disc and the wheels of the robot are lifted off the ground. Slap 'Em Silly hits Afterthought again, freeing the robot, but Afterthought wasn't moving and time ran out shortly after. Slap 'Em Silly won on a unanimous 45-0 judges' decision and advanced to the quarter-finals, where it faced The Big B.

Season 5.0[]

Slap 'Em Silly vs. Rambite 2.0

Due to its seeding, Slap 'Em Silly was allowed to skip the preliminary rounds of Season 5.0, where it eventually faced Rambite 2.0. In the match, Rambite 2.0 started spinning its bar and Slap 'Em Silly got its wedge under Rambite 2.0, unbalancing it for a moment. After this, Slap 'Em Silly pushed Rambite 2.0 onto the killsaws and Rambite 2.0 tried to escape. Slap 'Em Silly got underneath Rambite 2.0 and pushed it under the pulverizer, but it barely missed. Shortly after, Slap 'Em Silly got underneath Rambite 2.0 again and Rambite 2.0 was flipped onto its back. Rambite 2.0 was spinning upside-down and it eventually got back onto its feet. Rambite 2.0 got itself under the spikestrip and Slap 'Em Silly gets caught on the ramrods. As Slap Em' Silly was moving around the BattleBox, Rambite 2.0 started spinning its bar again and got itself caught on the killsaws, tossing it toward the pulverizer. Rambite 2.0 gets caught under Slap 'Em Silly's wedge and it was pushed under the pulverizer. Rambite 2.0's spinning bar takes a hit from the pulverizer and it was almost flipped from the impact. Slap 'Em Silly vs. Wedge of Doom

Slap 'Em Silly charged and drives over Wedge of Doom's ramp twice in a row. Wedge of Doom managed to scoop Slap 'Em Silly from the side and crash it into the spikes. Slap 'Em Silly took a small hit from some killsaws and Wedge of Doom scoops it up again and attempted to ram Slap 'Em Silly into the spikes again, but was stopped by the floor-spinner. Slap 'Em Silly kept trying to scoop Wedge of Doom but couldn't and Wedge of Doom managed to bring Slap 'Em Silly into the spikes again. Wedge of Doom then used its lifter as a clamp and grabs Slap 'Em Silly, bringing it to a pulverizer. Wedge of Doom also takes a hit from the ramrods, but it then rams Slap 'Em Silly into the spikes again. Both also take a hit from some killsaws. Wedge of Doom won on a 36-9 judges' decision and Slap 'Em Silly was eliminated from the tournament again.
