Misanthrobot (later Misanthrobot X2) was a lightweight robot built by Team Misanthrobotics which competed in Seasons 2.0 and 3.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was an invertible silver aluminum rambot armed with a wedge and a rear horizontal spinning disc (originally a vertical saw). It didn't perform well in competition, losing both of its matches.
The team that built Misanthrobot also built a middleweight robot called Necronomibot.

Misanthrobot vs. Scrap Metal  Misanthrobot gets stuck under the spikestrip. Misanthrobot's first and only match in Season 2.0 was against Scrap Metal. In the match, Misanthrobot went straight at Scrap Metal and Scrap Metal was moving around the BattleBox. Misanthrobot lines up close to Scrap Metal and starts spinning. Misanthrobot hits Scrap Metal and Scrap Metal comes dangerously close to the pulverizer as Misanthrobot looks on. After this, Misanthrobot started spinning its saw blade. Misanthrobot missed Scrap Metal and drove itself under the spikestrip. Scrap Metal was moving around the BattleBox and got itself caught on the killsaws as Misanthrobot was counted out. Scrap Metal won by KO at 1:16 and Misanthrobot was eliminated from the tournament. It is unknown if Misanthrobot participated the Lightweight Consolation Rumble at the end of the tournament. |

Misanthrobot X2 vs. No Tolerance III Due to previously competing in Season 2.0, Misanthrobot X2 was allowed to skip the preliminary rounds of Season 3.0, where it faced No Tolerance III. No Tolerance III won by KO at 1:29 and Misanthrobot X2 was eliminated from the tournament again. Because it lost in the round of 64, Misanthrobot X2 couldn't participate the Lightweight Consolation Rumble at the end of the tournament. |
