Deathtrap was a lightweight robot built by Mike Regan and Team Vicious. It competed in the Long Beach 1999 event of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was a four-wheeled black square-shaped robot which was armed with a lifting arm. It performed well in competition, winning four battles in its only appearance.
Deathtrap also won the BotBash championship the same year.

Death Trap vs Rott-Bott
Deathtrap's first match was against Rott-Bott in the match, Deathtrap lifted Rott-Bott several times and won on a judge's vote, Rott-Bott advanced to the next round, where it faced Executioner.
Executioner won by crowd vote and Deathtrap was now in the loser's bracket, where it faced Annuit Geptus. However, Annuit Geptus had technical issues and was forced to forfeit. Deathtrap won by default and advanced to the next round, where it faced Gorange 3. Deathtrap won by KO and advanced to the next round, where it faced Shrike. After flipping Shrike against the wall where Shrike could not escape Deathtrap won by KO and advanced to the next round, where it faced Executioner again. Executioner won by crowd vote again and Deathtrap was eliminated from the tournament.
For unknown reasons, Deathtrap didn't participate in the Kilobot Royal Rumble at the end of the tournament.
