Inertia Labs, known as Team Rhino until Season 4.0, are one of most well-known teams in BattleBots. They are best known for their championship-winning flippers Toro and T-Minus, as well as fan favorite Bronco.

The team were headed by Alexander Rose and Reason Bradley, and picked up third place in the 1999 Long Beach event. Following this, Inertia Labs turned their attention to pneumatic flippers and were credited as the pioneers of the flipper weapon in the United States. The team won many battles at US Robot Wars and BattleBots events and continued to fight long after Comedy Central BattleBots ended, mainly in the 1lb antweight category.

Inertia Labs returned in 2015 with a brand new heavyweight - Bronco, which most recently fought as a Bounty Holder in the 2020 spin-off series BattleBots: Bounty Hunters. Bronco never won a Giant Nut title, but asserted itself as an early fan favorite of the reboot era, evidenced by its appearance in numerous toy lines.

Though Inertia Labs would no longer compete after 2020's spin-off, Bronco would continue to make appearances at the live show, BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon, operated by the show's own staff. Its final appearances under Inertia Labs came during a June 2023 live show, where it fought and beat the ShowBot version of OverKill.

Reason Bradley confirmed in a January 2024 episode of the Skorpios Builder Blog that Inertia Labs had no intention to bring Bronco back to BattleBots.[1]
