E2V2 was a middleweight robot built by Team Titanium Knights, previously known as Team Electronic Emphasis, which competed at four BattleBots IQ events between 2004 and 2007.
It was a wedge-shaped robot with two small saws at the front, representing Bergen County Academies in Hackensack, New Jersey. E2V2 was the successor to the original E2's design. E2V2 placed seventh in its debut competition before becoming High School Division runner-up a year later. In BBIQ 2006, E2V2 ended as champion and finished runner-up for a second time at BBIQ 2007.
The team also competed at numerous BattleBots IQ events with Titanium Knight, Overlord, Knightrous and Mighty Knight with mixed success.
Team member Raymond Barsa would later captain Team Ground Control and Escape Velocity during the 2016 season on ABC.

E2V2 vs. Kiss My Bot E2V2 now earned the right to face Kiss My Bot in a rematch from earlier in the tournament. This time, E2V2 took the win and earned its revenge.
E2V2 vs. Falcon E2V2 later fought Falcon. E2V2 was expeditious in charging towards Falcon before the weapon spun up. The drum spinner connected several hits to the side of the wedge. The defending BotsIQ champion began to use its rear skirt to get under E2V2 but it escaped. They went head-to-head a few times before E2V2 was flipped over by one tremendous blow. Both robots proceeded with more head-on collisions once Titanium Knight's robot landed back on its wheels. E2V2 was overturned with another strong hit when it tried to approach the drum spinner. They began trying to find an opening to attack but Falcon only needed to reverse into the inverted E2V2. Falcon stopped spinning its weapon and contested in a shoving match with E2V2 with an instance of the latter being slammed into the rails. E2V2 received a pulverizer hit as it tried to flee. Falcon revved its drum up again and struck the inverted wedge robot three times before the match came to an end. Falcon was declared the winner.

E2V2 vs. Marvinator Returning for BattleBots IQ 2006, E2V2 fought Marvinator. E2V2 won this battle and was declared the winner of the High School division, with Marvinator finishing second this time around.
BattleBots IQ 2007[] | |
E2V2 vs. Pneumagic E2V2's first fight of the 2007 event came against Pneumagic. The defending champion was immediately able to get under the front of Pneumagic and shoved it around for the bulk of the fight. Pneumagic was unable to do much in response, but lasted the full three minutes. E2V2 won this fight, and advanced in the winners bracket.
E2V2 vs. Roflcopter Next up for E2V2 was an overhead spinner in Roflcopter. E2V2 was able to drive the length of the arena to box-rush Roflcopter, whose spinning bar struggled to spin up as smoke emitted from the bot. E2V2 circled around its opponent, who eventually got its blade up to speed. However, as E2V2 drove into Roflcopter, the spinner unbalanced it and toppled Roflcopter over. Unable to self-right, E2V2 took the win by knockout.
E2V2 vs. Darkside 2 E2V2 then fought Darkside 2, getting its front wedge in underneath its opponent early on. E2V2 rammed Darkside 2 into the wall and then under the pulverizer, before it was pushed away. At this stage, Darkside 2 had lost drive on one side and posed no threat to E2V2. However, it was still deemed mobile and the fight went the distance, but the judges voted in favor of E2V2.
E2V2 vs. Mr. Plow Next up for E2V2 was Mr. Plow. E2V2 was able to immediately scoop up and push Mr. Plow into the spiked bumper, as both robots rammed each other in the center of the arena. Mr. Plow struggled to assert itself after E2V2 broke free, with the former champion continuing to breach its ground clearance and ram it into the walls. At various points, E2V2 was lifted up from its back, and found itself pushed around the arena. Both robots continued to ram and gently nudge each other towards the latter stages of the fight, where, after slamming into E2V2, Mr. Plow found itself in the corner opposite the red square and drove itself into the spiked bumper. This presented a chance for E2V2 to get underneath Mr. Plow again, before more rams and shoves were exchanged between the two wedged rambots. E2V2 was able to get in underneath Mr. Plow several more times before the fight went to the judges, who gave E2V2 the nod.
E2V2 vs. DBC5 E2V2 then fought DBC5, a fellow wedgebot. Although E2V2 was often able to win the ground game, DBC5 got underneath E2V2 on occasion but was unable to capitalize during most of the battle. E2V2 later carried DBC5 across the arena and pushed it into the wall, and in the closing seconds, DBC5 almost got E2V2 under the pulverizer and rammed it against the wall. However, this late attack was not enough to stop E2V2 from picking up yet another win and moving on in the bracket.
E2V2 vs. The Blender Advancing deep into another BBIQ tournament, E2V2 faced The Blender. In the starting seconds of the final, E2V2 interfered with The Blender's spin-up. The wedge continued to deflect the hits, managing to unbalance the shell spinner once. The Blender quickly regained stability and struck the defending champion's wheel and a side. E2V2 was knocked from its side and its back but the wedge held up. However, a few more hits and final strong blow assured the immobility of E2V2. E2V2 would place second in this competition. |
