Phrizbee was a heavyweight robot built by Team LOGICOM and competed in the final three seasons of the Comedy Central BattleBots run, as well as the R3: Rochester Robot Rampage BattleBots event in 2005.

It was a low full-body spinner with teeth on the sides to inflict damage to the opponent. It proved to be very powerful, spinning at over 1000rpm. Its name was a play on the word "frisbee", as Brian Nave's robot sported a similarly-shaped chassis. The team also built a superheavyweight version called Phrizbee-Ultimate, which reached the Round of 16 in Season 5.0.

Both robots' names were a spin on the 'frisbee' - a flying disc whose name is patented by the Wham-O toy company.

Phrizbee returned to battle in the 2005 Rochester Robot Rampage event, sanctioned by BattleBots, by then having received a dual identity with its successor Shrederator. It picked up two wins against Tetracide and REDRUM before falling to eventual champions Big Betty.

Outside BattleBots[]

Revolutionist

Phrizbee as The Revolutionist.

Phrizbee also competed in Robot Wars: Extreme Warriors and Nickelodeon Robot Wars as The Revolutionist. In Season 1 of Extreme Warriors, The Revolutionist escaped its six-way battle and beat The Brute, but lost to eventual champion Todd Mendenhall and Panzer Mk 2. As the season runner-up, it qualified for the Second World Championship, but lost its four-way first round melee to Razer. Team LOGICOM returned for Season 2 of Extreme Warriors, but despite seeing off Trackzilla and Psycho Chicken with ease, The Revolutionist crashed out in their heat to overhead spinner Propeller-Head.

In Nickelodeon Robot Wars, The Revolutionist was largely unchanged, but had mixed success throughout. It was paired with the team's second entry Spin Doctor and represented the USA in the International Tag Team special. Team LOGICOM won their US qualifier before crashing out to UK pairing Rick and Ming 3. In the Mayhem special, The Revolutionist again won their first round battle, but lost again in the three-way final to Propeller-Head after knocking out its own power link.

Following the end of the Comedy Central run, Phrizbee was rebuilt into Shrederator, with Phrizbee-Ultimate similarly renamed Shrederator Supreme. Both the Phrizbee and Shrederator names were carried by the heavyweight version at Rochester Robot Rampage, with 'Phrizbee' taking precedence on official websites and in arena announcements.

The robot remains with Team LOGICOM to this day.

This win put Phrizbee to the TV rounds, where it faced Deathstar. In the beginning of the match, Deathstar was grasping Phrizbee with the saws before it could spin up. Deathstar drove itself over the killsaws and then later reversed into the pulverizer. Deathstar started smoking after this hit. Phrizbee spun up at this point and tore into Deathstar, sending springs and armor pieces flying. Phrizbee hit Deathstar several times before getting clamped again, but Phrizbee used this as an advantage to push Deathstar toward the pulverizer. Deathstar took several shots as it tried to feebly move away. After being nudged back underneath by Phrizbee, Deathstar slowly escaped and drove into the spikestrip as the time ended. Phrizbee won the fight on a 37-8 judges' decision and advanced to the Round of 32, where it faced HexaDecimator.
