Fatal Error is a 15lb robot which competed in BattleBots: Metal Mayhem - a high school and college competition held as part of SXSW 2024.
It is a two-wheel drive, invertible robot armed with a large horizontal disk spinner driven by a pulley and timing belt. Fatal Error only chalked up a single group win before losing to Thunderstorm in Round 1 of the knockout tournament.

Fatal Error vs. Thunderstorm In Round 1 of the single elimination bracket, Fatal Error met vertical spinner Thunderstorm. However, Fatal Error lost again and was eliminated as a result. |
