Fatal Encounter was a heavyweight robot which competed in Season 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was a grey robot armed with an undercutting horizontal spinning bar and a rear lifting wedge. It performed decently in competition, winning two battles before losing to Mauler 51-50 in the round of 64.

Fatal Encounter's first opponent was going to be Gorilla Warfare, but Gorilla Warfare was having technical issues and had to forfeit, letting Fatal Encounter advance to the next round. Its next opponent was Tarkus. It beat them and moved on to face the experienced Mauler 51-50. Fatal Encounter came out wedge first, but Mauler managed to cripple the lifting wedge on the first blow.

The second hit sent Fatal Encounter's wedge flying. Fatal Encounter tried to use the spinner, but a few hits rendered it useless, then sent it flying. Mauler started damaging the side armor on Fatal Encounter before its driver tapped out.
