Fantom Thrust was a superheavyweight tracked robot that competed in seasons 4.0 and 5.0 of Comedy Central’sBattleBots. It was a silver robot armed with an actuated plow and hydraulic ram. It was able to win twice and was able to reach the televised rounds of Season 4.0.
A third version of Fantom Thrust was under development[1], but no known information on this design was released and it never appeared in any competitions after BattleBots.

Season 4.0[]
Fantom Thrust's first match was against MantaRay. This was a rather uneventful pushing match. Fantom Thrust stopped moving for a while, but started moving again. MantaRay appeared to slow down as the match progressed, allowing Fantom Thrust to get a couple of hits. Fantom Thrust didn't have the speed for a good ramming attack and it's hydraulic ram was not effective, but it scored point. The time ran out and Fantom Thrust won on a 27-18 judges' decision. This win put Fantom Thrust in the TV rounds, where it faced The Probe.

In the beginning, The Probe tries to get a lift in on Fantom Thrust, but Fantom Thrust slips away. The Probe then has trouble getting its lifting bar to touch the floor without going too far and lifting the front of the robot into the air. Fantom Thrust rams into the side of The Probe and pushes it around the BattleBox. The Probe is pushed around the killsaws, while Fantom Thrust goes over them. This ripped one of Fantom Thrust's tracks off and The Probe gets underneath Fantom Thrust again. The Probo finally lifts Fantom Thrust off the ground and tries to take it to the pulverizer, but has a little trouble steering. When The Probe puts Fantom Thrust back down, it rips the front wedge bar off of Fantom Thrust. Fantom Thrust stopped moving and it was being counted out. The Probe won by KO and Fantom Thrust was eliminated from the tournament.
Season 5.0[]
Fantom Thrust was scheduled to fight Amputator first, but Amputator had technical issues and was forced to forfeit. Fantom Thrust won by default and advanced to the final preliminary round, where it faced My Nutz Are Stainless. My Nutz Are Stainless won by KO and Fantom Thrust was eliminated from the tournament again.
