FX Korea, also known as FX, was an Asian television network owned by Fox Networks Group Asia Pacific and was a child company to the American FOX network. It was responsible for airing BattleBots World Championship I and II in South Korea.
Episodes saw commentary from Chris Rose and Kenny Florian replaced by Korean anchorman[1] Kim Min-gwang and Kim Nam-hoon[2], though shots of the original presenters were still present throughout FX Korea's dubs of episodes. World Championship II took an 11pm timeslot and episodes aired every Monday.[3]
A fifty-second trailer for World Championship II, which roughly translated from Korean as 'BattleBots 2: Robot Fighting Battles' or alternatively 'Robot Fighting War', was shown in February 2017.[4] A brief teaser was uploaded to FX Korea's social media pages in April that year, showcasing the Round of 32 battle between Tombstone and Escape Velocity. This was shared by the Hardcore Robotics Facebook page.[3]
No other seasons are known to have aired on FX Korea. World Championship III became available to view on Netflix following its 2018 premiere on Discovery, and World Championship IV aired on YTN Science in early 2020. World Championship V became available on the Korean subscription service, Coupang Play.

FX (stylized as fX) officially launched in the United States in 1994 and was one of the first channels to make use of the internet and emailing as a means of gaining viewer feedback. Three years later, fX rebranded in the US as FX: Fox Gone Cable and the target demographic for its content shifted towards young to middle-aged men. As it grew in popularity, numerous international channels were launched. One of these was FX Korea, which launched on November 3, 2008.
Following the news that The Walt Disney Company would merge with 21st Century Fox in 2019, Tcast, the licensor for Fox channels in South Korea, cut ties with The Walt Disney Company. As such, from the start of 2021, FX in South Korea would become MX, still owned by Tcast.
