The Excellence in Sportsmanship Award, also known as the Best Sportsmanship and Outstanding Sportsmanship Award is a best in show award presented to the individual or team which showcased the best display of sportsmanship during a BattleBots competition.

Originally awarded during BattleBots IQ to encourage fair and generous treatment of opponent teams, BattleBots gave out the inaugural Outstanding Sportsmanship Award in the 2002 event, and it became a constant part of the best in show awards in every year that followed.

While absent for every televised BattleBots season, it was announced that the award made a return as the Excellence in Sportsmanship Award following World Championship VII, and during the first episode of BattleBots: Champions II. Rather than being presented to an entire team, it was instead awarded to a specific team member, that being Rory Mangles of Monsoon, who was presented with one of the pulverizer hammers, for his assistance with various teams' VESC systems throughout the competition.
