Evil Twins was the name of a middleweight robot built by Team Mad Overlord which competed in Season 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was effectively two individual robots, each two-wheel drive and equipped with a spinning ring on the outside. The robots were constructed from welded tube metal and armored in titanium.[1] Both modules were connected by a low, hinged wedge piece and could theoretically run inverted. The wedge originally had 'Evil Twins' engraved on it, but this had to be removed in order to make weight, as well as weight-saving holes being made in the front with a plasma torch.[2] Evil Twins lost their first preliminary battle against Red Square and as such, never appeared on television.
Team Mad Overlord later found success with bar spinner Totally Offensive, which would become the featherweight runner-up of the NPC Charity Open 2004. Totally Offensive would receive an Honorable Mention in the Combat Robot Hall of Fame. The team would also build a robot called Red Menace.

- Evil Twins originally failed its safety inspection as the inspector was not satisfied with their weapon restraints. However, after reinspection, the team were allowed to compete.[2]
