Evil Eagle was a middleweight robot built by students from the Hauppauge High School which fought in the inaugural BattleBots IQ competition in 2002.
It was a silver, four-wheeled robot with a front-mounted lifter. Evil Eagle was able to run both ways up, and was armored in aluminum checker plate.
Evil Eagle performed well in its only competition, finishing fourth place overall after winning four fights and only losing to Wee Willy Wedgy and PlasticBot. Hauppauge High School were one of three competitors to be awarded Lincoln Electric welders at random, the others being Plow King, FLIP and Default. Despite its impressive performance, Evil Eagle did not return for any of the end of competition rumbles, or any other BattleBots events.
