El Furro was an antweight robot built by Team Toad that competed at the Season 5.0 BattleAnts event.
It was a Furby toy dressed up in a red cloak and donning a black fedora hat. El Furro was armed with a swinging sword, inspired by Zorro. Surprisingly, El Furro did well in the competition, beating its first opponent, and reaching the quarter-finals where it lost to its second opponent.
Team Toad also entered TadPole into the same event as a serious entry, however it lost in the first round to Tsunami.
Outside BattleBots[]
After BattleBots, El Furro would enter one more event in 2002, notably lackinn its cape before being retired.

Season 5.0[]
El Furro's first opponent was Cupcake. As soon as this fight started Cupcake was having control problems, it almost immediately stopped moving, and was counted out.
This win meant that El Furro advanced to the quarter-finals where it faced Gnat. Gnat won on a close judges' decision and was eliminated from the tournament.
