El Diablo was one of six BattleBots competitors produced as part of the Pocketbots line of toys produced by Tiger Electronics in 2001.

The toy is based on the Season 2.0 version of El Diablo, due to the spiked drum and horns. Unlike the real robot, the El Diablo Pocketbot toy is not invertible due to the pull motor protruding from the top. When the cord at the rear is pulled and released, the toy would move and the drum would begin spinning.

As was the case with every Pocketbot in the range, it featured a metal clip to allow for the toy to be attached to personal belongings. Two or more Pocketbots could be clipped together and "fight" once their cords had been pulled, as advertised on the back of each pack.
