E2 was a middleweight robot built by students from Team Electronic Emphasis of Bergen County Academies which competed in the inaugural BattleBots IQ competition in 2002.
It was a silver, two-wheeled, invertible wedge robot that was armed with a small lifting panel at the front. It was based upon the team's previous build, E1. E2 did very well in its only competition, finishing seventh overall.
E2 was retired after the 2002 competition, and was replaced by E2V2 for BattleBots IQ events from 2004 until 2007.

E2 vs. Reaver Here, E2 took on Reaver and picked up a second win by KO, moving on in the tournament. |
E2 vs. Wut In the second round of the loser's bracket, E2 drew Wut. E2 won on a 24-11 judges' decision and moved on. |
E2 vs. Joan of Arc E2's next opponent was Joan of Arc in the loser's bracket. E2 managed to knock its opponent out again, continuing its unbeaten streak. |
E2 vs. Checkmate Now in Round 4 of the loser's bracket, E2 faced and defeated Checkmate by KO to advance again. |
E2 vs. Defenestrator Next up was Defenestrator, who E2 beat on a 24-13 judges' decision, extending Team Electronic Emphasis' winning run to five fights. |
E2 vs. Botsy In the sixth round of the loser's bracket, E2 met Botsy, who had just fallen out of the winner's bracket to Wee Willy Wedgy. E2 lost this fight by knockout, ending the team's streak and confirming their elimination from the competition at the quarter-final stage. |
E2 vs. PlasticBot vs. Defenestrator vs. Karl vs. Wee Willy Wedgy vs. The Edge vs. Whambulance E2 of five consolation rumbles at the end of the competition. Despite its success in the main competition, E2 failed to advance to the Grand Rumble as Wee Willy Wedgy and The Edge were declared victorious. |
