Deimos Prime was a heavyweight robot from Moshannon, Pennsylvania which registered for the 2009 BattleBots Pro Championship. Very little information is available on the robot's design or weaponry, although its builder, Curt Walsh, suggested on the Builders Database that it was to incorporate "Well planned defensive capabilities" to improve accuracy.[1]
Despite having applied, Deimos Prime would not compete in the 2009 Pro Championship tournament for unknown reasons. Prior to its attempted entry, Walsh Marketing and Design had previously registered for various North American live events with robots including the 220lb Progenitor[2], the 30lb sportsman Prophet[3] and the 12lb Pulse.[4]
