Default was a middleweight robot built by students from Plymouth North High School, Massachusetts, which competed in the inaugural BattleBots IQ competition in 2002.
It was a black and white, box-shaped robot armed with a lifting arm which boasted 180 degrees of motion. Default also had twin forks at the front to help get underneath opponents. However, Default went winless across three fights, which included a consolation rumble.

Despite this, Team Default were one of the winners of the Lincoln Electric Welders, alongside Evil Eagle, FLIP and Plow King.
