Death-Maul was a heavyweight robot which competed in the final two seasons of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was an octagon-shaped robot which was armed with an overhead rotating blade. It did not perform that well in competition, winning one battle in two seasons. It returned for the NPC Charity Open, but it lost both of its battles.
Death-Maul is a pun of Darth Maul, a sith in Star Wars.

Team Patriot with Death-Maul at Season 4.0
Season 4.0[]
In Death-Maul's only match, it faced Jabberwock. Death-Maul was driven straight at by Jabberwock, causing pieces of Lexan to go flying across the BattleBox. This hit actually caused Death-Maul to jump a few feet in the air. Death-Maul was rammed by Jabberwock again and landed upside-down. Despite Jabberwock's front wedge being broken up, it was still moving and Death-Maul was being counted out. Jabberwock won by KO and Death-Maul was eliminated from the tournament.
Season 5.0[]
Death-Maul flips itself after hitting Dredge.
Death-Maul's first match was against Dredge. Despite flipping itself over after hitting Dredge at some point, Death-Maul won the match and advanced to the next preliminary round, where it faced Darkstar-2J. Darkstar-2J won the match and Death-Maul was eliminated from the tournament again.
2004 NPC Charity Open[]
Death-Maul gets clamped by Karcas 2.
After receiving a bye, Death-Maul's first match was against Karcas 2. At the start, Death-Maul spins up the weapons and hits Karcas 2, but it was not much doing damage to Karcas 2, then Karcas 2 clamps Death-Maul at some point. After Death-Maul hits Karcas 2's jaw, Karcas 2's jaw was suddenly stuck in the arena wall. After Karcas 2 was seprated from the arena wall, the match restarted. Karcas 2 clamps Death-Maul again, then pushes it into the pulverizer, but Death-Maul escaped. Then Karcas 2 managed to get underneath Death-Maul and finally flips Death-Maul over, but not enough time to count it out, so the match goes the distance. Karcas 2 won on a judges' decision and this lose put Death-Maul into the loser's bracket.
Death-Maul gets flipped over by Karcas 2.
Death-Maul's first and only match in the loser's bracket was against Jack in the Bot. In this match, Death-Maul spins up the weapon and hits Jack in the Bot several times, but suddenly Death-Maul stopped moving and it was caught smoking. Death-Maul was counted out and Jack in the Bot won the match by KO, this meant Death-Maul was eliminated from the tournament, and it stopped competing after this.
