Crashius Clay (not to be confused with middleweight Smashius Clay) was a lightweight robot which competed in Seasons 3.0 and 4.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was a wedge shaped-robot armed with a thwacking club on the back which could be exchanged for a chain flail. It did decently in battle, reaching the Round of 32 in Season 3.0 but advancing no deeper in the tournament. Crashius Clay also attempted to return for Season 5.0, but encountered unknown issues and was forced to forfeit.
The robot was named after late heavyweight boxer Muhammad Ali's real name, Cassius Clay.

Crashius Clay vs. BuddleStomper After receiving a bye, Crashius Clay went up against BuddleStomper in the final preliminary round. Crashius Clay won the fight on a 34-11 judges' decision and advanced to the TV rounds, where it faced Vermicious Kenid. |
Crashius Clay vs. Vermicious Kenid Crashius Clay won the fight on a 30-15 judges' decision and advanced to the Round of 32, where it faced Skid Mark. |
Crashius Clay vs. Skid Mark Skid Mark won the fight on a 33-12 judges' decision and Crashius Clay was eliminated from the tournament. |
Lightweight Consolation Rumble Crashius Clay also participated the Lightweight Consolation Rumble at the end of the tournament. Its unknown how well it performed but it lost overall to The Crusher and Reaper. |

Crashius Clay vs. Speed Bump Despite reaching the Round of 32 in Season 3.0, Crashius Clay had to go through the qualifiers again in Season 4.0. After receiving a bye, Crashius Clay went up against Speed Bump. Crashius Clay had trouble steering and both of the robots took turns getting underneath each other, hitting, pushing, and ramming each other into the spikestrip. Crashius Clay's thwacking arm was ineffective, but made a lot of noise. The time ran out after this and Crashius Clay won the fight on a 30-15 judges' decision. This win put Crashius Clay to the final preliminary round, where it faced General Gau. |
Crashius Clay vs. General Gau Crashius Clay dominated the fight at the beginning, but General Gau managed to get the upper hand near the end as it was able to push Crashius Clay against the spikestrip. As the fight ended, Crashius Clay's motors caught fire and General Gau was awarded the win on a close 25-20 judges' decision. This meant that Crashius Clay was eliminated from the tournament again. |

Crashius Clay vs. Evil Squirrel (Forfeit) Crashius Clay was due to fight Evil Squirrel in the first preliminary round, but Crashius Clay had technical issues and was forced to forfeit. Evil Squirrel won by default and Crashius Clay was eliminated from the tournament once again. |
