Crash Test Dummy was a heavyweight robot that competed in Season 3.0 and Season 5.0 of Comedy CentralBattleBots. It was a black robot with literally a crash test dummy, dressed up in a hard hat and crash test logos. Its only weapon was to be airbags that would inflate to deflect the opponent and self-right Crash Test Dummy, but at the time they were considered entanglement devices and had to be removed, leaving the robot with few defenses except to spin or use its lower half to its advantage. Crash Test Dummy, although reaching the televised rounds in its debut season, didn't do very well, winning only once in its 3 total fights. It was built by Robert Doerr for the team Robot Workshop.

Crash Test Dummy also had a middleweight counterpart built for Season 5.0 named Crash Test Junior which lost it's only fight
Collateral Damage had to take more time to get the pneumatics system working again, and Team Robot Workshop’s Sportsmanship gave Collateral Damage time to get it’s pneumatics fixed. The match began with very little action, with Collateral Damage breaking down in the start of the fight, Collateral Damage almost got counted out until it showed movement again, Crash Test Dummy managed to ram Collateral Damage into the Pulverizers, at the end of the match Crash Test Dummy won the judges decision on a 26-19 favour and moved on to face Battlerat
Crash Test Dummy vs. BattleRat
Crash Test Dummy gets flipped by BattleRat.
Before the match, Crash Test Dummy's builder attached some spikes to the front of the robot since it had no weapon. Crash Test Dummy started spinning and BattleRat flipped it in less than 15 seconds. Crash Test Dummy fell face first onto one of the hellraisers and it eventually got back on it's feet after getting hit by the hellraisers multiple times. BattleRat's lifting arm was now stuck in the upright position, as its only strategy was to capture Crash Test Dummy and push it to the arena hazards. BattleRat pushed Crash Test Dummy to the killsaws and then the arena wall. BattleRat then pushed Crash Test Dummy on the pulverizer and it got hit several times, with one hit removing Crash Test Dummy's plastic hat. BattleRat raised it's lifting arm backwards and Crash Test Dummy moved around the arena before the time ran out. BattleRat won on a 33-12 judges' decision and Crash Test Dummy was eliminated from the tournament.

Crash Test Dummy vs Ripkin
This fight was gruelling, with Ripkin’s ring spinner spinning up to full speed ripping pieces off of Crash Test Dummy and destroying the bottom skirts of Crash Test Dummy, Crash Test Dummy managed to deflect Ripkin causing it to fly into the air ripping Crash Test Dummy’s head right off with the electrical wires sticking up, Ripkin penetrated Crash Test Dummy’s armour and now Crash Test Dummy’s innerds were exposed, both robots made it to a judges decision somehow, and Ripkin won on a 35-10 Decision and Crash Test Dummy was officially eliminated from the competition
