Commando was a middleweight robot which competed in Season 4.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was a 4-wheel drive invertible robot armed with a front plow and a rear mounted spinning blade. Commando had a lot of pushing power for a middleweight as it was powered by four large wheelchair motors. However, it lost its only battle to Strange Brew and never returned for another BattleBots competition.

Season 4.0[]
Commando fought Strange Brew in the first round preliminaries. Strange had a few problems with control once or twice, and neither robot was really able to get underneath the other at first. However, Commando later got a few hits on Strange that are off-center, causing Commando to roll over the edges of the pyramid shape and land back on the ground like a car going over speed bumps too fast. Strange Brew got one good knock with a fast spin-in-place move, and eventually won a 28-17 judges' decision. This meant that Commando was eliminated from the tournament.

Outside BattleBots[]
Commando Completed at the TC Mechwars 2002. It was much more successful at this event achieving third place defeating fellow BattleBots competitors Exodus and Centipede along the way.[1]
