Chummy was a middleweight robot built by Team Flip Vibe which competed in Season 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was a yellow and blue, octagonally-shaped robot with sloped sides, which was armed with a front pneumatic flipping plate. It performed well, reaching the final preliminary round of the competition after defeating Deadblow in an upset, but lost out to BattleBots IQ champion Wee Willy Wedgy.
Outside BattleBots[]
Chummy also competed in Robojoust IV in Las Vegas, Nevada in November 2002. It reached the middleweight finals before winning an end-of-competition rumble.

Chummy vs. Deadblow Next, Chummy faced Grant Imahara and Season 1.0 runner-up, Deadblow. Both robots survived the duration of the match and Chummy won on a 23-22 split judges' decision. |
Chummy vs. Wee Willy Wedgy In the final preliminary battle, Chummy took on BattleBots IQ champion Wee Willy Wedgy. This time, however, Wee Willy Wedgy won on a 40-5 judges' decision and Chummy was eliminated from the tournament. |
