Chewbot was a heavyweight robot which competed in Seasons 3.0 and 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was a white (later blue) four-wheeled robot armed with an undercutting spinning blade and a rear static wedge for Season 3.0. It performed decently in competition, winning one fight in each season it competed in.

The team also built middleweight Shredbot and superheavyweight Super Nova.

Robot History

Season 3.0
Chewbot vs. Black Ops Chewbot's first match of the season was against Black Ops. Chewbot won by KO at 1:02 and advanced to the TV rounds, where it faced Kritical Mass II.
Chewbot vs. Kritical Mass II Chewbot pushes Kritical Mass into the killsaws after getting attacked from behind. In the match, Chewbot's weapon was disabled (presumably from a weapon-to-weapon collision), so it tried to use its rear wedge to tank the blows dished out by Kritical Mass, where in the process, it got pushed into the spikestrip. The whole fight was then turned into a pushing match before the time ran out. Kritical Mass II won on a 35-10 judges' decision and Chewbot was eliminated from the competition. Because it lost in the round of 64, Chewbot couldn't participate the Heavyweight Consolation Rumble at the end of the tournament.
Season 5.0
Chewbot vs. Overbearing Chewbot tears into Overbearing. Chewbot's first match was the ring spinner of Overbearing. Overbearing was quite literally torn in two pieces after this fight and Chewbot won by KO. Chewbot advanced to the final preliminary round against the British flipper Spitfire.
Chewbot vs. Spitfire In the match, Spitfire immediately wedged Chewbot, drove it to the corner and flipped it onto the spikes, where it was unable to move. Chewbot's driver tapped out only 39 seconds into the match and Chewbot was eliminated from the competition again.
