Centipede was a lightweight, later middleweight, robot built by Team Myriapod which entered Season 3.0 and 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was a shufflebot which, in its debut season, was armed with an overhead spinning blade and fought in the lightweight division. However, Centipede lost its only fight against Herr Gepoünden and was eliminated early in the preliminary rounds.
Due to rule changes concerning shufflers, Centipede lost its weight bonus for Season 5.0, and had to move up to the middleweight division. In terms of upgrades, Centipede now sported a weapon similar to a cage spinner. Centipede was able to win one match in Season 5.0 against Silver Shield, but lost to Timmy in the preliminary rounds once again.
