This category is for robots armed with grapplers. A grappler is a derivation of bot a lifter, and a grabber with both weapons being part of a single weapon module. The idea of a grappler is to grab a robot, and ether hold them in the air or suplex them for a flip.
Alternatively, but this isn't as common, a team will forgo the grabber, and instead opt for a set of static claws such as the case with Krusty Grab. The drawbacks to this is that being static, some bots won't fit into the jaws essentially turning it into a lifter.
Notable grapplers include Complete Control, Zion , and the first version of Bite Force.
