It was a black robot armed with a lifting arm, rear spikes, and an endmill.[1] It did not perform well in BattleBots, winning only one match. Carnivore was replaced with the more successful Blade Runner from Season 1.0 on Comedy Central onward.

An earlier build - also called Carnivore - competed in US Robot Wars as a lightweight. It was a smaller, two-wheeled robot armed with a milling drill for weaponry. However, Ilya Polyakov's team could not compete during the first day of the event and Carnivore subsequently debuted in the loser's bracket. It defeated Black Widow before losing out to Razor Back, unrelated to Zack Bieber's heavyweight of the same name.
