CUAD the Annihilator was a middleweight robot built by Team CUAD which competed in Season 4.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.

It was a parallelogram-shaped robot with a triangular battering ram on one side to stop robots from going all the way up the wedge. It won one fight before losing a judges' decision to 2925 Jack Rabbit. The team also entered with CUAD the Crusher and CUAD the Unmerciful.

After Season 4.0, an upgraded CUAD the Annihilator fought in the 2002 NCRSF event. It sported a lower-profile design with a shallower front wedge and ditched the yellow for a navy blue color.

Robot History

Season 4.0
CUAD the Unmerciful vs. Root Canal CUAD's first match was against Root Canal. Root Canal struck CUAD early on with the saw, dealing little damage but scoring points, and then managed to get under CUAD. Then, CUAD went into a defensive spin, causing smoke to start coming from the tires. Root Canal moved in with the saw again, but CUAD charged Root Canal, slamming it against the wall, and Root Canal stopped moving. The fight ended before Root Canal could be counted out, but it still lost the fight on a 26-19 decision.
CUAD the Unmerciful vs. 2925 Jack Rabbit CUAD moved on to fight 2925 Jack Rabbit. CUAD had such severe control problems that he ran right into the wall as the match began. They then started darting around each other and trying very hard to line up shots, and not succeeding very much. Jack Rabbit missed CUAD by inches and ran into a wall again, and this time it was the wall that won. Jack Rabbit threw a chain on the right side of its drive because the Magmotors bent the drive shafts from the hit. CUAD then got a few shots on Jack Rabbit, wedging under it and hitting at the same time, and Jack Rabbit got a few more hits on CUAD. The judges scored a 25-20 decision in the favor of Jack Rabbit, and CUAD was eliminated from the tournament.
