Brian Nave is an active BattleBots competitor who served as a judge for BattleBots IQ 2005 alongside Jim Smentowski, Amy Sun, Peter Drewes and William Garcia. He also held an announcer role for the 2004 BattleBots NPC Charity Open.
He also worked as chief safety inspector for the 2009 BattleBots Championships, seen beside several teams as they underwent safety testing during that year's High School, Collegiate and Pro Championships. His wife, Rebecca Nave, was credited as a tech inspection administrator.
Alongside Rebecca and son Nick Nave, he has competed with a variety of robots spanning over 20 years. He currently captains and competes with a heavyweight shell spinner called Captain Shrederator.

Brian Nave has held the role of president at LOGICOM Logic Systems since 1984, which his BattleBots team's name derives from.
He currently resides in Ormond Beach, Florida.
