Bradley Warren Hanstad is an engineer and BattleBots competitor who served as Head Robot Engineer for the BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon live show from January until December 2023.

He worked to tech check Proving Ground robots, as well as driving and repairing several of the ShowBots alongside Trey Roski, Malice driver David Rush and JackPot captain Jeff Waters. Having captained Team Think Tank in both Comedy Central and ABC seasons of BattleBots, Hanstad finished third with the powerful vertical spinner VD6.0 in the 2009 Pro Championship, which later evolved into Bad Kitty. He has been present with several other teams in recent years, including Chronos and Captain Shrederator. He also featured as Team Overboard entered Deep Six and Triton, with Hanstad captaining the latter for World Championship VII.

In late 2023, he moved to Texas and left his BattleBots role to work for REV Robotics, owned by Switchback captain Greg Needel.

Outside BattleBots[]

Bradley Hanstad founded the company RRevo (Robotic Revolution) in 2012, which provide products such as robot kits.[1]

Hanstad competed in the 2011 edition of RoboGames and Combots Cup V with a shell spinner called Double Rainbow Party.

In 2018, Hanstad competed in the Chinese television show This is Fighting Robots with Chronos, captained by Jerry Serafin.

Hanstad's girlfriend, Shea Johns, has been involved with Vegas Combat Robotics and Team Overboard during BattleBots seasons and also competes with her own bristle drive robots called Cookie and Big Cookie. in the National Havoc Robot League.
