Botsy was a middleweight built by the Tasmanian Tigers team, which competed at the first BattleBots IQ competition in 2002.

It was a two-wheeled invertible robot with no active weapon, Botsy was armored in Lexan, and had a white, plastic wedge at the front to get under other robots. Despite its lack of a damaging weapon, Botsy proved largely effective in its first and only competition. Botsy picked up five wins in its seven total fights, with one of its losses coming to the eventual champion, Wee Willy Wedgy.

Botsy is not known to have competed again after this event.

Botsy vs. First Step to Oblivion Botsy's first opponent was First Step to Oblivion, who it beat to advance in the Winner's Bracket.
Botsy vs. FLIP Next up for Botsy was FLIP. Botsy won this fight as well and moved on.
Botsy vs. Playbot Botsy now fought Playbot, who it again beat to extend its winning streak to three matches.
Botsy vs. Wee Willy Wedgy Botsy's next fight came against Wee Willy Wedgy. It lost this battle, and was relegated to the loser's bracket.
Botsy vs. Trojan Warrior Now in the loser's bracket and one loss from elimination, Botsy took on Trojan Warrior. The Tasmanian Devils team won their fight, and Botsy advanced.
Botsy vs. E2 Botsy pushes E2 under the pulverizer. Botsy takes E2 to the pulverizer. Botsy chases E2 into a corner. Botsy drives after E2. E2 was Botsy's next opponent in the loser's bracket. Botsy was able to largely dominate this battle, chasing and pushing E2 around the BattleBox, remaining aggressive throughout. Though it is not known whether the fight ended in a knockout or judges' decision, Botsy won this battle and continued on in the tournament.
Botsy vs. Plasticbot Botsy now fought Plasticbot in the seventh round of the loser's bracket - two wins away from the loser's bracket final. However, Plasticbot defeated Botsy and Tasmanian Tigers were eliminated from the competition. Botsy did not return for the end-of-competition rumbles for unknown reasons.
