Borax was a heavyweight robot built by Team Suicide which was registered to compete in Season 3.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
Nothing concerning its design or weaponry are known as of this time. It is also unknown if it was built at all or just conceptualized. No evidence of a possible match up for it in exists. The only evidence of Borax existing is from the Season 3.0 event brochure that was handed out to audience members at the event in 2001.[1] From this, it is known that Borax was designed by Team Suicide who had entered with Suicidal Tendencies in Seasons 1.0 and 2.0. Borax was also referred to in the pre-season rankings page on the official BattleBots website.[2] It is possible that Borax was a renamed version of Suicidal Tendencies, following rules meaning competitors from other could no longer use their Robot Wars identities in BattleBots competitions, notably affecting fellow British entry Bigger Brother.Citation?
Borax's name likely derives from the mineral also known as sodium borate.
