Booby Trap was a middleweight robot built by Team Half-Life which competed in Season 3.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was a two-wheeled robot armed with a lifting arm and axe on the same arm and a static "dustpan" trap on the front (hence the name). It performed decently in competition, winning two battles before losing to Bouncing Betty in the round of 64.
Team Half-Life also built lightweight Skid Mark and superheavyweight Atomic Wedgie which were more successful. The team also made HellaChopper which withdrew due to safety issues.

Team Half-Life with Booby Trap
In its first match, Booby Trap faced Aftermath. Booby Trap won by a KO and moved onto face The Cyclonic Plague. Booby Trap won on a 39-6 judges' decision and faced Bouncing Betty. Bouncing Betty won on a 28-17 judges' decision and advanced to the TV rounds, eliminating Booby Trap from the competition.
