Blunt Force Trauma was a heavyweight robot which fought at Las Vegas 1999 and Season 2.0 of the televised Comedy Central BattleBots show.

It was originally armed with a serrated spinning ring with maces, but was revised to have a spinning blade for Season 2.0.

Blunt Force Trauma enjoyed limited success in each of its appearances, with only a single victory during a grudge match against Minotaur in its debut event.

Robot History

Las Vegas 1999
Blunt Force Trauma vs. Kill-O-Amp 2 Blunt Force Trauma's first ever match was against Kill-O-Amp 2. Kill-O-Amp 2 won by KO and Blunt Force Trauma was eliminated from the tournament.
Blunt Force Trauma vs. Minotaur (Grudge Match) Blunt Force Trauma later had a grudge match against Minotaur. In the end, Blunt Force Trauma was declared the winner of the grudge match.
Heavyweight Royal Rumble Blunt Force Trauma wasn't finished however, as it participated in the Heavyweight Royal Rumble at the end of the tournament. Blunt Force Trauma started spinning its maces until Tazbot stopped it immediately. Blunt Force Trauma never moved in the rumble and was left against the spikestrip. In the end, BioHazard was declared the winner of the Heavyweight Royal Rumble and Blunt Force Trauma lost overall.
Season 2.0
Blunt Force Trauma vs. Suicidal Tendencies Blunt Force Trauma being pushed by Suicidal Tendencies. Blunt Force Trauma is pushed under the pulverizer by Suicidal Tendencies. Blunt Force Trauma's only match in Season 2.0 was against Suicidal Tendencies. Suicidal Tendencies drove out to hit Blunt Force Trauma, who had spun up to speed and damaged the plow of Suicidal Tendencies. Blunt Force Trauma's weapon stopped spinning and Suicidal Tendencies started pushing it around. Eventually, Blunt Force Trauma was pushed up against the spike strip and was pounded by the pulverizer. Blunt Force Trauma eventually escaped, but got trapped under another pulverizer. Blunt Force Trauma started smoking, stopped moving and was counted out. Suicidal Tendencies won by KO at 2:03 and Blunt Force Trauma was eliminated from the tournament. Blunt Force Trauma couldn't participate the Heavyweight Consolation Rumble most likely due to the unrepairable damage from its last match against Suicidal Tendencies.
