Blue Steel was a middleweight robot built by Team Lunch Money which competed in Season 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.

It was a sliver, wedge-shaped robot armed with a vertically-spinning blade powered by a standard 4" C40 Magmotor. It did not perform well in competition, losing its first match against Fusion.

The robot was built by the team behind Little Pink Butterfly of Doom. Team member Greg Gibson later went on to build Yeti, which debuted in World Championship II.

Outside BattleBots

Blue Steel fought in Steel Conflict 2 under the name The Mullet. There, it lost its first fight to Ch53 and fell into the loser's bracket. It then beat Tuka the Cat before being eliminated at the hands of Huggy Bear. It is unknown whether the robot fought at any other events.

Blue Steel vs. Fusion Blue Steel fighting Fusion. Blue Steel's only match was against Fusion. Fusion won by KO and advanced to the next preliminary round, while Blue Steel was eliminated from the tournament.
