Bliss 2 was a heavyweight robot built by Bots FC which applied for BattleBots World Championship II.
The robot was a multibot consisting of two middleweight shell spinners which weighed roughly 120lbs each. Bliss 2 consisted of two upgraded versions of the Bots FC middleweight, Bliss. Both robots were set to spin in opposite directions and have black and white color schemes.
- ""Too many shell spinners" and "not unique enough" basically. We were like "but there's 2!" It happens, I understand. We went back and eventually thought up Mega Melvin/Blue/Shatter! so it all worked out in the end."

Bots FC would apply for World Championship III with Doomba and Friends, which would also be rejected. The team would finally get the chance to make their debut a year later with Shatter! and also debuted Emulsifier in World Championship VII.
Outside of Battlebots[]
The original Bliss was a middleweight shell spinner built in 2005 which competed in Robotic Revolution New Orleans event that same year. At the same time, Matt Bores was trying to get his college (Ohio State University) to sponsor the costs of going to BattleBots IQ 2007.[2] This attempt did not pan out as Bliss never competed at BattleBots IQ.
Bliss returned for RoboGames 2008, where it earned a 2-4 record in the middleweight division.
