Black Widow was a lightweight robot which fought in Season 1.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.

It was a black two-wheel drive wedge with no active weapon. It had the red "hourglass" painted on the top as the name would imply. Black Widow didn't do well in competition, losing its only fight to Afterthought.

Outside BattleBots

Black Widow previously competed in US Robot Wars in 1997 but lost all of its fights.

Robot History

Season 1.0
Black Widow vs. Afterthought Black Widow's side gets ripped off by Afterthought. Black Widow's only match of the season was against Afterthought. During the fight, Black Widow's left-side armor plate got torn off by Afterthought, and it stopped moving soon after. Afterthought won the fight by KO and Black Widow was eliminated from the tournament.
