Black Warrior was a lightweight robot which competed in Season 3.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was a black wedge-shaped robot with only its front wedge as a weapon. It was built by 15-year old Keegan Hutto. It performed decently in its only season, winning one battle before losing to The Wacky Compass via a technical problem.
Hutto expressed interest in returning to BattleBots, specifically, Season 5.0.[1] Hutto started plans on completely redesigning the robot as Black Warrior 2. This design would be a middleweight full body spinner with a spinning dome winning 40lbs and powered by 2 pancake motors. This idea was eventually abandoned to make the original lightweight wedge. Neither idea were constructed and neither competed on BattleBots.

Black Warrior vs. The Wacky Compass Black Warrior was dominating the fight, as it was able to outmaneuver the slow The Wacky Compass, but a fuse blew on its radio receiver and incapacitated it.
