The Best Driver Award, formerly known as the Best Operators Award, was an end-of-season award presented to the team or individual who showed the best driving performance during a BattleBots competition.
It was originally presented during the earliest, untelevised BattleBots events in 1999 before returning for Season 4.0 and continuing for the first three BattleBots IQ competitions between 2002 and 2004. After a twelve year hiatus, the Best Driver Award was presented on-screen for the first time to Will Bales of Team HyperShock.
