Battle Royale With Cheese was a heavyweight robot built by Team Poor Life Choices which exclusively competed in BattleBots World Championship III.

It was a cheeseburger-themed robot armed with interchangeable, hardened steel spinning bars which spun horizontally. In keeping with its look, one was designed to look like a slice of bacon, and the other to look like a large pickle. Battle Royale With Cheese also had a self-righting mast themed to resemble a toothpick with an olive on it. The 'buns' were made from steel, and served as top armor and the robot's chassis.

Battle Royale With Cheese was also accompanied by a weaponless minibot named Shorter Pounder which was themed after a cheeseburger as well. The original name for Battle Royale With Cheese was Bacon Double Slamburger but since Denny's owned the trademark for the name, the team had to change it. It performed poorly, losing both of its matches. In an interview after their match against HyperShock, the captain admitted that having a burger as a design for a bot led to mechanical issues.

Though Battle Royale With Cheese would not return after World Championship III, several team members would join other teams for future seasons of the show. Brice Farrell would become the weapons operator for Mammoth from 2019 onward, Jen Herchenroeder would pilot her own robot, HiJinx, from World Championship V.

Captain Miles Pekala would design the walkerbot Gloomweaver, but was unable to complete it in time in part due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other unexpected circumstances within their team.

Battle Royale With Cheese vs. Tantrum Battle Royale With Cheese is flipped by Tantrum. Tantrum takes Battle Royale With Cheese to the screws. Battle Royale With Cheese gets pushed onto the killsaws by Tantrum. Battle Royale With Cheese was first up against Tantrum. Before the right, the team were experiencing issues as the gearbox for the spinning weapon broke between testing and the time of the fight, and could not be repaired. As Battle Royale With Cheese was without a weapon, it was vulnerable from the off and was immediately flipped over by its opponent, ending up on the screws. After a few seconds, Battle Royale With Cheese got a break and was righted by its opponent but still could not get its weapon up to speed. Finally, after some maneuvering, Battle Royale With Cheese did manage to achieve some speed on its weapon but it was quickly stopped by its opponent, whom then started to control the fight by maneuvering it around the arena with its spatula weapon. Time ran out and Tantrum by unanimous judges' decision, giving Miles Pekala's team a 0-1 start to the season.
Battle Royale With Cheese vs. HyperShock Shorter Pounder is quickly destroyed. HyperShock takes a bite out of Battle Royale With Cheese. Battle Royale With Cheese's next fight was against HyperShock. For this fight, Battle Royale With Cheese opted to include its minibot Shorter Pounder. The match started off poorly for Battle Royale With Cheese as HyperShock quickly dispatched of the minibot in a single solid hit and Battle Royale With Cheese still could not get its weapon to top speed due to the weapon speed controller burning out during the fight. This allowed its opponent to deliver another solid blow, which deformed the its vulnerable steel frame. Battle Royale With Cheese began to slow down after that hit, and became immobile shortly after. HyperShock then charged at the crippled burger, and rammed it under the pulverizer. Battle Royale With Cheese was counted out as HyperShock continued to attack it, eventually getting stuck on top, giving HyperShock the win by KO.

• Jen Herchenhoeder revealed that due to a delay in shipping, Team Poor Life Choices were without the 10S LiPo batteries they had originally planned to use for Battle Royale With Cheese, and had to bring "emergency" 8S LiPos instead.
