Vandalism is the act of making a non-constructive edit to a Wiki page, often with malicious intent.
In light of controversial episodes of BattleBots, specific pages may be locked for editing or restricted to prevent vandalism from occurring.
Vandalism takes many forms, including but not limited to the following:
- Making edits which do not conform to our Editing Protocol
- The addition of irrelevant text, images, gifs and videos to Wiki pages
- Removing information from pages without a legitimate reason to do so
- Spam
Administrators are advised to assume edits which may be considered nonconstructive have been done in good faith, and should contact users via their Talk page to advise against editing in the same way again.
Acts of vandalism not deemed to have been made in good faith will be reverted, and users responsible are liable to be warned or blocked from editing on the BattleBots Wiki.
