BattleBots IQ 2009, also known as Bots IQ 2009, was the eighth BattleBots IQ event sanctioned under the BattleBots name. It ran concurrently with the 2009 BattleBots Championships, which also featured High School and College middleweight divisions - the latter seeing Pro competitors mentor several teams.

Following the unsuccessful attempt to see BattleBots competitions become televised again that year, the only division not considered for television was the 15lb Mini Class, which saw College and High School teams compete together in the same division. Little is known about the event, but Team Excessive Force picked up first and third with eXecutioner and eXterminator. Ransom Everglades Robotics earned second place with their 15lb robot, Fluffy.

At least two post-fight rumbles took place between 15lb robots. Both were won by Quasar, with a three-way rumble held in the smaller arena and a four-way rumble held in the larger BattleBox.[1][2]
