Barely Mobile was a lightweight robot built by Team Malicious for Season 3.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was a shufflebot, and was armed with a 60lb steel spinning shell which could reach speeds up to 750rpm. The weapon was powered by a Scott 24V 1HP motor which was geared down from 3000 rpm. The design involved a unique design which would spin the motor itself along with the shell. It was said to move very slow, hence the name.[1]
Unfortunately, Barely Mobile had issues in The Pits and did not compete. It also had problems during construction where one of its relays broke.[2]
