Baby Bear was a lightweight robot built by Team Guava Moment which competed in Season 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.
It was a two-wheel drive, box-shaped robot armed with an overhead spinning blade and a decorative stuffed bear in the center. Baby Bear lost its only fight by forfeit after suffering problems which made it unavailable to compete.
Team member Brendan McClure would later form part of 2020 season applicant Hack & Slash, captained by Kurtis Wanner of Red Spark Robotics, who previously competed with Lucky and later formed part of Witch Doctor.
Outside BattleBots[]
The team would go on to design the 3lb beetleweight robot Limblifter, which found considerably more success having won multiple championships at Kilobots events. Team Guava Moment also competed with robots named A God and 3D.
