Armordillo was a heavyweight robot designed by students of The New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology with the intention to compete in BattleBots World Championship V.
The robot's design is totally unknown, as no images are public on the team's social media page.[1] Armordillo's name is a portmanteau of 'armor' and 'armadillo'.
The team originally began posting about their intended BattleBots submission in September 2019, with components such as speed controllers modeled in CAD the following month. After no updates for over a year, the page expressed interest in competing in a future season in January 2021, but there have been no updates since.
